Artist proposals with scale models

Last week marked an important and eagerly anticipated  milestone in the progress towards  our public  artwork  to commemorate Shelley. On Tuesday 23rd January, the four shortlisted artists presented their concept design to the selection panel.

The presentations include a scale model of the proposed artwork along with a sketch  of the sculpture in its final position in  Horsham Park.  Four excellent and very different designs were submitted.  

The public consultation that will inform the final decision on the design for the artwork will be launched  next month.  

The designs will be exhibited  in Horsham museum and  on a dedicated page on Horsham District Council’s website. There will be opportunities for the public to respond to the consultation on both sites.  In anticipation of the launch our Facebook page will provide a preview of each artist design.
