Shelley enthusiasts joined Sussex poets Barry Smith and Stephanie Norgate in the beautiful surroundings of the Alexander Hotel, once the home of Shelley's grandmother Helen on Sunday 24th July 2022 for an afternoon of poetry and cream teas.

The two poets read from their recently published collections, 'Performance Rites ' and ' The Conversation' and a selection of Shelley's best-known poems.

Attendees were also encouraged to bring along their favourite poems to share.
