Shelley Memorial Project treasurer Barry Syder received a donation from the Arts Society Horsham

The Shelley Memorial Project is delighted to receive financial support from the The Arts Society Horsham.

The Arts Society Horsham applied to the Arts Society HQ  in London for a Community Grant to support  arts initiatives in the local community, and were granted the sum of £250 from HQ funds to donate to the Shelley Memorial Project.    This was presented by society Chair Mrs. Christine Denne to Mr. Barry Syder, the Treasurer of the Shelley Memorial Project, and an Arts Society Horsham member,  at the Arts Society October lecture.

Barry said  ”We are very grateful for this generous donation towards the Shelley Memorial Project and we look forward to working with the Arts Society Horsham as plans progress.”

The Arts Society Horsham will continue to work with the Shelley Memorial Project through 2022 as their plans develop and one of Horsham’s most significant local artists is once again recognized in his home town.

Thanks so much to Arts Society Horsham for applying for a grant and making such a generous donation to the Shelley Memorial project, and for their ongoing support. Their contribution to achieving our objective of delivering a permanent memorial to Percy Bysshe Shelley, Horsham's most famous resident is very much appreciated. If you too share our vision, please donate to the project via this link.
